Another author defined strategy as "a long term approach, based on a shared vision, to achieve improved outcomes for children, young people and families in one or more georaphical or operational areas. Strategy is not static but evolves in response to changing needs."

What is strategy?

After going through the authors definitions Iunderstood that strategy is not a single thing it includes many things, some of them are plan, perspective, pattern and position. Planning in a perfect way is also called as strategy. Sometimes this strategy builds a bridge between the plan you made and to the goal you need. Strategy and tactics will cover the gap in between the goals.
Simply strategy is a collection of thoughts, plans, goals, experiences, memories and mile stones to achieve goal. Strategy is a frame work that guides you to the goal by doing all the actions one by one nothing the results or goals as mile stones.

From one author I clearly understood that this strategy is not born in business it born in military and adopted for business use. This strategy only aims at your goals and how those goals are achieved. Strategy is the one which is alive all the time when starting the process till the goal is achieved so we can say that strategy is the main process which should be alive to achieve goal in time with best results.
